Active Child Debuts New Song "Subtle" Featuring Mikky Ekko

Pitchfork has just premiered Active Child's new track "Subtle" featuring Mikky Ekko! Click HERE to check it out or listen below.

The new track appears on the forthcoming Rapor EP set for release on October 22nd. The six-song EP is a culmination of Pat Grossi’s heartfelt journey around the world in support of You Are All I See and an introspective year spent writing at his home studio, Rapor, from which he derived the title and inspiration for his forthcoming release.

Emerging from Rapor with an inspired and incredibly personal collection of songs, Grossi moved to Heavy Duty Studios in Burbank, CA over the summer of 2013 to work with producers Kevin Seaton (Major Lazer, Snoop Lion) & Nick Ruth (Mikky Ekko, Night Terrors of 1979) to complete his vision, which includes vocal features from contemporaries and friends Mikky Ekko and Ellie Goulding. Goulding who covered Grossi’s stand out “Hanging On” on her current release Halycon is featured on the EP's fourth track “Silhouette” which showcases the two artists soaring falsettos in duet. See below for the EP's full tracklist.

Grossi will tour this fall with support from JMSN and then return home to put the finishing touches on his follow up album, due out mid 2014. Click HERE for all upcoming dates and ticket links.

1. She Cut Me
2. Subtle (Feat. Mikky Ekko)
