From Autumn To Ashes to play benefit show January 8th

FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES have announced a January 8th benefit performance for the Looney Tunes CD Store in their hometown area of Long Island, NY. A massive fire destroyed the store, which is family-owned and has been in business for over 35 years, last August. The store has been rebuilt and re-opened on December 1st, with the help of donations from fellow indie retailers and local bands.

Francis Mark, FATA’s frontman, said: “When I was 13 years old I bought my first hardcore CD from Looney Tunes, which was Earth Crisis' "All Out War" EP. That was a huge turning point in my life and I've been going there ever since.”

From Autumn To Ashes’ entire performance in-store will be recorded live. To gain admittance, fans must pre-order the recording for $7.99 either by clicking on the link below or signing up at the door on entry. Pre-order link: http://www.looneytunescds.com/rel/v2_viewupc.php?storenr=45&upc=67777677766

This will be the only New York area appearance by FATA as they continue their worldwide tour in support of their transformative and critically acclaimed fourth full-length, Holding A Wolf By The Ears.

The Hold Steady Set To Record

"For the last few weeks we've been holed up in our rehearsal space in Greenpoint finishing up preproduction with John Agnello for the new album. Since the band's beginning, this is the longest we've gone without being in the studio. I've never looked forward to being placed in a giant aquarium with headphones like I have been lately. We'll be recording for most of January and February and updates and photos will be posted for those interested."
