Alexisonfire Announce iTunes Originals Release - Available September 28!
(August 31, 2010) – ALEXISONFIRE today announce the release of iTunes Originals on September 28, 2010. The iTunes Originals session encompasses interview clips of the band members reflecting on their career and revealing the inspirations behind their songs, along with album tracks and new live versions of some of their most well known songs. Alexisonfire recorded their iTunes Originals session in April 2010 and performed six tracks live in the studio specifically for this release. Alexisonfire’s iTunes Originals will be available for $9.99 and the individual songs are available for $0.99 each. The interview segments are only available by purchasing the complete release.
Alexisonfire’s fourth and latest studio full-length Old Crows/Young Cardinals was released in the summer of 2009 and debuted at #2 on the Top 200 SoundScan in Canada. The Ontario-based band has been performing around the world and continues this fall with a tour of Australia.
Alexisonfire is: Dallas Green (vocalist/guitarist), Jordan Hastings (drummer), Wade MacNeil (guitarist/vocalist), George Pettit (vocalist) and Chris Steele (bassist).

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Announce The Release of iTunes Live Session on September 14th- STP Tour Begins In 3 Weeks
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club released their fifth studio album, Beat The Devil's Tattoo, last March (Abstract Dragon/Vagrant Records) which was hailed a 'gritty good time' by SPIN Magazine. Since the records' release, the trio has toured the states and crossed the pond to bring their hooks to fans across the globe. Today, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are pleased to announce the release of an iTunes Live Session, complete with seven live tracks (including material off of Beat The Devil's Tattoo). The album will be made available digitally, exclusively from iTunes on September 14th. Track listing can be found below.
Immediately following the release of their iTunes Live Sessions, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will join Stone Temple Pilots in San Diego for a month-long national jaunt. Kicking off September 16th, the tour will take BRMC from California to Florida with stops in almost every state along the path.

J Roddy Perform for Converse "Gone To Governors" Series
Check out the video below of J Roddy Walston and The Business performing an acoustic version of “Don’t Break The Needle,” from their debut, self-titled album. The band filmed the piece in New York City this past summer, when they made an appearance at the Converse "Gone To Governors" free concert series. The intro is definitely our favorite.
